This year, VeloFinland will be organized in the picturesque city of Porvoo, which will gather together the best bicycle traffic and urban planning experts from all over the country; but the seminar is also aimed at anyone interested in cycling or bicycle traffic, so there's no need to be an expert in the field \ud83d\udcdd<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The seminar will take place at the Taidetehdas in Porvoo (L\u00e4ntinen Aleksanterinkatu 1, Porvoo) from September 26th-27th. In addition to its extensive programme, the seminar pass includes lunches on Thursday and Friday as well as coffee. The programme is mostly in Finnish, but there are also some presentations in English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Two nights in Porvoo have been booked for Linkki members, from Wednesday to Friday. We'll be arriving in Porvoo on Wednesday evening in order to get to know the seminar city and the other attendees. Everyone interested can join Linkki's bicycle trip to Porvoo on Wednesday. We'll set off from Otaniemi, but you can also join from the Mellunm\u00e4ki metro station. The distance from Mellunm\u00e4ki to Porvoo is about 40 km. The public transport options to Porvoo are excellent and you can also arrive with your own car. The trips to the seminar are not covered by the registration fee \ud83d\ude87<\/p>\n\n\n\n
