Linkki30: Car Museum Visit

As part of Linkki’s 30-year anniversary celebrations, we will be heading to the Espoo Car Museum on Monday, May 13th at 18:00. The Espoo Car Museum (located at Bodomintie 35) is one of Finland’s largest car museums and contains over 200 vehicles as well as other car-related items.

On their website, the Car Museum says the following:

“Espoo Car Museum introduces an exhibition of 100 cars and as many two wheeled vehicles, from bicycles to motorcycles. The museum is one of the largest motor-vehicle museums in Finland. The exhibition introduces a piece of Finnish automotive culture, from the vintage cars to the 50’s American’s, from microcars to the everyday vehicles. Finland’s oldest Car Museum is located in an 1915 nostalgic grey stone stable, The Backby Manor. The two museum floors portray automobiles and automobilia for a period of a hundred years. The annual exhibitions present a piece of Finnish traffic and automobile culture.”

You can arrive at the museum with your preferred mode of transport. We will leave together from Otaniemi with public transport (the museum is located in the HSL Zone C), but it is also possible to cycle, through which you can experience the authentic Espoo countryside, or to arrive with your own car.
