Welcome to Linkki’s Pre-Christmas Party and Election Meeting! ✨🎅

Dear Linkki friends! It’s that time of the year again when the year is coming to an end. Let us celebrate that together at Linkki’s Pre-Christmas Party and Election Meeting, where you’ll have the chance to relax and hang out with fellow Linkki members while we elect next year’s board for Linkki. 🎉

Pre-Christmas Party and Election Meeting will be held at the Vaasankatu cabinet and sauna (Vaasankatu 10 Helsinki, top floor) on Wednesday, November 26th, starting at 17. During the evening, you can enjoy Christmas treats and refreshments. You’ll also have the chance to go to the sauna if you wish and, of course, to experience the excitement of seeing who will be elected to the 2026 board. The election meeting will begin at 18:00. 

All full members of Linkki will have a vote at the meeting. Everyone is welcome to apply to be an event helper, and if you would like to run as a candidate for the board, speaking at least some Finnish is required. You can, and should, also come just to enjoy the Christmas party itself, which includes snacks, drinks, and the chance to relax in the sauna!

To help us plan the amount of food and drinks, there is also a registration form available on this page. Please fill out the registration form if you know you’ll be joining us. You can also come without registering. The registration for catering will close on Monday, November 24th.

In the elections, we will choose the board and officials for 2026. The board will include a chairperson, a secretary, a treasurer, and 1–5 additional board members. In addition, possible travel coordinators and event assistants will be elected. The specific roles of the other board members will be decided by the new board in their first meeting. The elections are held annually, and the board’s term of office lasts for one calendar year.
