VeloFinland 2024

Do you want to discover your inner bicycle traffic expert? Or is cycling simply your passion? Come listen to and learn from the seminar presentations and discussions of the VeloFinland seminar with other Linkki members 🚲

This year, VeloFinland will be organized in the picturesque city of Porvoo, which will gather together the best bicycle traffic and urban planning experts from all over the country; but the seminar is also aimed at anyone interested in cycling or bicycle traffic, so there's no need to be an expert in the field 📝

The seminar will take place at the Taidetehdas in Porvoo (Läntinen Aleksanterinkatu 1, Porvoo) from September 26th-27th. In addition to its extensive programme, the seminar pass includes lunches on Thursday and Friday as well as coffee. The programme is mostly in Finnish, but there are also some presentations in English.

Two nights in Porvoo have been booked for Linkki members, from Wednesday to Friday. We'll be arriving in Porvoo on Wednesday evening in order to get to know the seminar city and the other attendees. Everyone interested can join Linkki's bicycle trip to Porvoo on Wednesday. We'll set off from Otaniemi, but you can also join from the Mellunmäki metro station. The distance from Mellunmäki to Porvoo is about 40 km. The public transport options to Porvoo are excellent and you can also arrive with your own car. The trips to the seminar are not covered by the registration fee 🚇

The registration for the seminar will open on this page on Monday, August 19th at 18:00. The registration closes on Sunday, August 25th, after which the registration is binding 📅

There are 8 spots available in the seminar for Linkki members, of which 3 are for students who started their bachelor studies in 2023 👥
